چکیده

PersonalLearningEnvironments(PLEs)helpstudentsmanageandtakecontroloftheirownlearning. Assuch,thePLEpromotesself-regulationinlearningandallowslearnerstoaggregate,manipulateand sharedigitalartefactswithinaflexibleandversatileonlinespace.Thispaperpresentsacasestudyin Greece,concerninganinvestigationaboutthepenetrationofPLEsintypicaleducation.Inparticular, thiscasestudyaimsatinvestigatingtheperceptionsofeducatorsaboutPLEsandtheirchallenges inincorporatingPLEsintheirteachingpractices.Thefindingsarecommentedontheprosandcons ofPLEsandtheopportunitiesthattheyoffertothemodernclassroom.Accordingtotheresultsof thepresentresearch,mostrespondentsaregenerallyawareofthePLEconceptanditsadvantages.
